On the 6th we held Caleb's first birthday party. It was the least planned event I've held but it went really well. We had Italian beef in the crockpot and Mac-n-cheese casserole (because it's one of Caleb's favorite). I did also find time to make both of his cakes and a special shirt for his party. 
It was a good time and the weather actually coorperated for us. It was pretty nasty the night before.
The wrapping and decorations were way better than the gifts.
Though the Purdue book was pretty neat.
We were having a very serious conversation with Uncle Chris.
He was not really into the cake the first go around. He was too sleepy to dig into the cake at the party.
But after everyone left he took a 2.5 hour nap we ate dinner then had cake for dessert. The cake got in our hair.
We made a good fun mess. MMMMmmmm was the cake yummy. He just kept shoveling it in.
He even wanted to share a bite with me. Yum!
